no not my spouse, just a great friend. she is my muse. or one of them. and this is just a little rebecca series....soon to be spent, like me after a long hard day studying
Ooh, wad da ya know, as I was typing just now, the letter box got a parcel shoved through it..lo & behold it's the CD from Australia....guess what I'm about to do?
Yeah, how can you be colourblind and take this. Perfect colour composition from her hair, her dress, her background. I might as well be colourblind then.
James said it before I could. The color coordination is just TOO good to have been taken by a colorblind photographer! (Unless he has really AMAZING good luck!) So, anyway, glad to hear you can see at least some parts of the rainbow. :)
I really do like these shots. You're a very good portraitist. (Is that a word?)
Good luck on the studies. Be sure to get some sleep. :)
A foreign girl came up to our table last night and asked what "U.S.A." meant when only my Iranian friend was manning it. He got thoroughly pissed off, "What do you mean you don't know what the USA is?"
This photo would be quite hideous without Rebecca. She makes the photo work, and maybe the combinations of the foreground and background could make an interesting photo in themselves but realistically, it would be a very ugly world without Rebecca. Imagine it. Who would want to paint cinderblocks Taxicab Yellow? Ugh.
LETTY - glad you like them. there are more but i never quite know when to stop. perhaps a couple more? i'll let you know when you reach crone status..... ;0p
SELANA - thank you! not such a relaxing weekend. much brainpower, but it is all good. take care!
MOLLY - who the L is L?
STEVE - thanks mate. the place where this was taken has since been painted dirty orange/brown and looks awful. i dont think i am good at portraits, so thanks for that. and i am trying to get some sleep, but the podbrain is ticking over like the clappers.
JD - oh thanks for the virtual hug. it was very warm and reassuring ;0)
JAMES - a foreign girl hey? bleedin' foreigners! bah!
JUG - when i have time i shall try to listen!
TESS - that was a pretty tame comment coming from you. is that the best you could manage?
JAMES - hello again. ooh i just cant think of a world with out rebecca. there is another pic of the building without her though that is quite cool, i may show it
WEND - ta love, but you are too kind. there is a lot of room for improvement. hope you're having fun in old londinium. did you sleep with the dillo?

oh i think this is my fave of the Rebecca pics so far - this and the slow 75 one. Fab.
And well, thankyou! so what did you imagine me to look like? really? I'm intrigued to know.
Bad photographer,
All the photos from Rebecca are amazing!I love the colours and the way she is standing at you.
I Hope that you have a relaxing weekend.
She really, really reminds me of L here. I wonder if there is a link. Look at her cheeks and mouth. They are L's almost exactly. Brilliant.
