GOODBYE No.6

Part of Pod is being removed today (not my frontal lobe). Thanks to my wonderful UK dentist, who used to pin me down and tell me his marital problems, I have to have a tooth removed. Since he didn't seal a root canal properly, the root has crumbled, thus I have to have some of my jaw bone taken away to get it out. Ouch! Hurty...

So as of 2pm today, I shall be incomplete. The first step in a few thousand dollar process. Ouch again!

Oh boo hoo! Oh boo hoo hoo........

Oh, and rest and be gentle with yourself.

Dental work is such a 'boring' experience! Seriously though, I hope it all goes ok for you. I just found your blog and your amazing collection of images. Very entertaining.

OUch pod! I feel for you! I've had lots of work done on my mouth in the past (multiple roots) and it's never fun. Yours sounds much more involved.

Like the pic.

Is this the side of jaw that work is being done on? :p Hope the surgery goes well ...

I'm sending you and your jaw much love, good healing energy and pure Reiki. Yikes!

Hope that the root of some old problem gets pulled away along with your tooth.

Take good care! We love you, Pod!

Does that few thousand dollar process estimate take into account all the soft food you'll have to consume? Mac and cheese doesn't grow on trees, you know.
Odd how his marriage crumbled your tooth. Well, dangerous really.
Will he let you keep the crumbs? Will this be the next post? What's the replacement gonna be?
Good luck! Enjoy the novocaine, enjoy the comfort foods, enjoy holding the cash before you hand it over....(Not to over plan but have your next of kin retain the option to pay in pennies if all goes south.)

Is that the jaw we will no longer see? Are you planning a burial of the removed body part? With witchery and all?

I hope you have lots of effective painkillers and nice people around to take care of you.

My positive thoughts join Edwin's for your prompt recovery.

Your post somehow reminded me one of Lush's song that goes Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep Chirp... but rather all I hear is Chubby Chubby Cheek Cheek Chub!

Well, I personally love that song.. and your photo! :-) Heal soon, and do something fun this weekend to get your mind off! :-)
