Ah, that's the Ausie term for an amputee woman with tassels? (Is she an amputee...and partially topless....or is her elbow just blurry?) I don't know, you're leading the podpeople on with the fishnet all over the place.

Love the movement and the way you caught that one woman's face. They look like old-fashioned cigarette girls. Are they handing something out?

Noice!
All right, better than that. That girl's smile and movement are just fantastic.
Are they doing what I think they're doing? Or is is just me?

On another front, yes they are trees at the top of the cathedral of Evry. That's what modern architecture does to cathedrals.

...yes indeed. having see this i feel the distinct lack of ass-tassels in my life.
FANTASTIC shot. the one chick in the back is flipping us off... the cigarette smoker...the movement is great, the glass blocks, the light, the choice of b/w.
awesome, podlet!
this looks like the street in front of Dahl and Pennes c.1972 (back before it was leatherboy.) rock ON.

Not sure if it's a mid-life crisis but I have a real desire to be a burlesque dancer. I blame Dita von Teese ;-)

I love the bum tassels. Though ... it must be uncomfortable trying to sit down in that outfit. Why do I always think about things like that??

Love the idea of the Absynth Club. We got our hands on a bottle of absynth a couple of years ago and in the spirit of discovery, had a sip or two (mixed with sugar cubes, just like you're supposed to). It was like being on LSD - we were disoriented for days. I probably wanted tassels on my bum during that bizarre high.

Later on, we poured the rest of the bottle down the sink. But it was interesting to try it out, anyway.

JA - yes it's a common term for the commonly sighted betassled fishnetted amputee 1950's cigarette lady

RAINDOG - very very thank you ;0)

GRIES - i have to come up with a name for you that rolls more easily off the tongue....?

HHB - for one and all!!

FN - window mullions?? here here for more ass-tassels i say!!

DONS - and you had the cheek to reprimand me for being saucy!! double standards hey? well, that's what makes sugartime all the more exciting. by day vintage fabricker, by night......?? ;0p

JC - all good clean fun here love. can the same be said about the store though i ask...?

CHED - watch out!! ;0)

JD - believe me there are lots of inconsistencies too! but thanks all the same my friend!

REYA - ooh you are funny! my sister and my best mate had an absynth night (they would only serve one person one lot of the stuff, but we got around that!) and ended up at home facepainting with cottage cheese and assorted salad leaves!!

Misnomers are said
For we do not walk
We wait and prey
On passing man flesh
Sinking our teeth
Deep into their greens
Leaving them spent
Guttering in alleys
Like stranded fish
On mud banks
At high tide.
I guess we walk then
Back to the shoal
Where we wait
And prey
Wait
And
Prey
