Again, this makes me laugh. Maybe I'm just in a giggly mood this week, but you certainly have a gift for captioning your photographs, Pod!

What is it with you and clouds?

They are drawn to act beautifully and dramatically for you - and this photo is wonderful.

*HUGS FOR POD*

It's conspiracy all over the place these days!

Now why is the title Conspiracy? It doesn't work for me. Will need to come back later.

Yeah, thought it could be that, the conspiration of the poles, ...
but then I also think you are mad and that's precisely what I love in you. Cheers

This was the chance
I’d waited for all morning
Thick unbroken clouds
No satellites can see me now
As I run across the frontier bridge
Soon to be safe
With information to sell

But wait
That man
Trenchcoated and trilbied
Suspicious hand
In lumpy pocket
Shaded eyes
But purposeful stride
How?
How have they intercepted me?

I’ll run for it
But have no hope
Five more loping strides to freedom
I hear a phutt
And get kicked three strides forward
And falling
Black tunnel
Falling
Last thought
Cameras
Streetlights…

Title - conspiracy,

I wonder why you changed your mind...

Those lights are such gossips. You can almost hear them spreading the latest tidbits. The clouds are fabulous - kind of scary, though!

I like how the lamp on the right is obviously trying to eavesdrop.

This is really funny, Pod. The more I look at it, the funnier it gets!

oh the angles, the symmetry and oh so contrasty. love, love, love it! at first glimpse i thought it was a beautiful b/w capture, then i notice the slight color in the cloud break, which made me like it even more. jolly good show!

These remind me of the wind mills they stick all over hillsides now, from a distance they look like wiry beings from science fiction, but I like their design & function in spite of the blight factor.

I love the clouds, nothing like a good rain.

Yes, the two lights definitely look as if they are hatching some kind of plot against the one on the fringe.
whisper ... whisper

or perhaps the two facing the same direction are marching forth to gang up on the light on the left facing toward them.
oh, no ... here they come!

this makes me think of the scutters in Red Dwarf - great shot.

And yes indeed. Ski.
hahaha
Mind you, there wasn't much choice in those days, was there?

Who would have thought yoghurt would become so everyday?

tell that to young people of today and they wont believe you.

and... furthermore... what kind of video do you think the naughty guineas would produce?

more carrots and dandelion leaves, surely?

Pod, I'm really digging what you're doing lately. I'm real big on graphic shapes, and clouds to boot. Very cool. Keep it coming!

(OSY) - giggle away!

JD - my mum loved clouds. i love clouds. if we ever have clouds here they are normally quite big and dramatic, so make for good piccies. hugs back JD ;0)

BV - tis coz i have a podbrain i fink ;0)

RAMBLER - billowing petticoats down your way i heard too. or is that just a conspiracy?

NATLY - maybe we should have a mad hatter's tea party of sorts?

JA - pleased you think so young man

INC - thank you once again. i kinda posted a war of the worlds pic a while ago. not sure why i changed the title, mybe for a bit of ambiguity?

GRIES - people can't cope with rain here, as it doesn't happen often, whereas being a true english gent, i always carry my umbrella

EDWIN - i need the superpowers of She-la...help!!

MC - thanks! i notied it rushing to work and went back to capture it.

REYA - they're always at it! sneaky sods!

STEVE - i didn't see it quite that way, but know you point it out, so it does, which does make it more funny than disquieting ;0)

RAINDOGGIE - oh! oh! and oh again! and thank ye ;0)

CHED - i love those windmill things on the landscape. reminds me of chocky if you ever read that?

LYNNE - you funny thing. as i said to steve i was thinking more of a conspiracy against us, rather that against each other, but that's what i love about interpretation!

MA - ooh...what? whisper it to me, i shan't tell ;0)

LAVENA - yes, watch out! we must make a stand!
;0)

LETTY - i never got into red dwarf, but scutters is a good word, as is scuttle. i always used to like it when my nan said 'fetch the coal scuttle' and i used to say back ' but it has scuttled away nanny!' and we would laugh everytime!

i think i must have been on the vege of the the verge of the yoghurt explosion. hard to believe now!

ZIPSTER - thanks..i shall see what i can do...

DWIN - was hopins She-la would bring her bag!! when i was a small pod, we had He-man and the masters of the universe, and his female sidekick (i think) was She-ra....so She-la is funny in several ways....

and how about Xena, Warrior Princess?

I just popped in to say:
spong-footage, of course! silly of me....

I saw a little mouse scuttling around the gps hutch yesterday, so it seems they have a spong-collaborator or two...

I bawled all the way through Whale Rider too - but I thought it wasn't solely about traditions dying, but also about how they evolve and survive. ?
