FISHING

As if it ain't enough to have a very red, very hot, very tender sun kissed bottom, this morning, not only did I get dumped, but I also got stung by a bluebottle!! Poor, poor Poddington!! Just think yourselves lucky that I didn't post a shot of my botty!!

Hyams beach is an absolute heaven on earth, Australia's whitest sand beach (or is NSW's??).
I was there in winter when it was too cold to swim so I didn't get dumped and didn't get stung... Ah summer is a dreadful season.

Wrestling with a stinger, now that's something I'd love to see
:-)

Heal well Poddy !

poor Pod.

I was going to leave a frivolous comment about where the sun shines from, but I don't suppose you are feeling frivolous or sunshiney....

Clearly a fool who doesn't deserve you.

Hugs.

I'd heard about everything but the dumping (for which I extend my sympathies to you- and Squinted Eyes of Death towards the dumper). But I was apparently thinking a "bluebottle" was a type of fly. Poor Poddy! Jellyfeesh are no fun up close.

Go for a run, watch a silly movie, and feel better. <3

I know the feeling ... I've been dumped big time by a wave. I thought that's what you meant, but there is a bit of a language barrier ...

I like the colors in this photo and the way the sign "cuts" the blue / white in nearly half.

Hi Pod,

Glad to hear the dumping was of the surfing variety, and not otherwise. (Though both are unpleasant in their way.) Those bluebottles are very mysterious to me. Here in the U.S. we have man-o-wars, but they're VERY poisonous, so maybe not quite similar...?

Anyway, take it easy out there in the rough surf, eh?

:)

That's a terrible sign. It's black and it doesn't look anything like a bottle? But a jellyfish sting, that's not anything to do with recycling. I'm sure everything about it stings but were your two events related in any way?

HHB - thanks for the sympathy, sorry for the confusion!

NATHALIE - if you go again, look for whitings beach in the nat park...very secluded and deserted. many a skinny dipping chance!

TRAC - i am very pleased you are around again!! x

LETTY - keep off the gins love, you're repeating yerself! there is still a dull glow emminating from my rear ;0)

J O'C - am saving that death stare for future usage, hope you don't mind?

MOLLY - have you got a penguin?

LORI - thanks...will you rub it on?

PG - yes ouch! thanks for the visit!

LYNNE - it was my ego that got dented more than anything else! :0/

STEVIE - no they are poisonous, though some folk react more than others (mainly people called nancy)

JA>MES - yes i was stung whilst being dumped. a double whammy! all ozzie signs are yellow and black. how banal!

ES - oh i only ever plonk my rear on the finest of silks and velvets (velour if i really have to) ;0)

RAINDOGGIE - i thank thee!

ANNA - it has been soothed by all of your kind words!

You should have wee'd on it - that'll stop the sting.

I'm afraid to ask WHAT is a bluebottle? I'm guessing it's like our jellyfish or man-o-wars. Yikes, hope your booty heals up soon.
