(I've never been first before. Knowing how many comments you get I feel a bit shy now)
Just caught up with your blog - man, you are weird! The cat's ears thing? I remember doing that with our cats with my lips....oooh you brought some memories/feelings there. And the dolls feet thing? YES! ME TOO! You see, we're all weird. Now where's that dart board. That would top it off.....
Now, that photo. Wonderful. Did you have a filter onthe lens? The browns/ochres inthe foreground really contrast with rest of the pic.
Looks like South Africa - made me a bit homesick.
Hello RW - oh don't be shy - it's only Poddy Pie - gorgeous as he is.
I love it when you can see storms rolling in from a distance. We used to get that in Florida a lot.
I love the way a good storm intensifies the remaining light making it sharp as a pin.

As it tapped along the ground,
I stop, and turn again,
No visible mound, no tell tale sign,
Of work been done, of job complete.

This picture made me think of the the Yorkshire Dales.
(except for the fence posts I suppose... they're not terribly British)

Yes, there is always something to turn back to. When we want to sigh and turn away, there is a tug on the jumper and a little hand saying, 'I miss you' and thinking of pulling the trolley to the loo in the summer with the grey cardigan. And Boggy's wet tomato rolls and Ash's tight fluorescent shorts and Inc in his mad, skipping way towards the clickety click sign out box. Bumpy rides on buses and home again, home again, jiggedy jig.
Can you pick up a shell for me from the beach? Can you throw it into the water for me? One of the spotty ones. It is a gift that might find its way home.
Pod, why can't you and LP1 come and visit? My computer is all wet and squishy now. Oh bugger.
