Oh what a title!

In the traditional Menage a Trois vaudeville play, as the husband comes home unexpectedly the lover quickly hides under the bed while the wife exclames 'Ciel, mon mari!' (Heavens, my husband!)

Hmmmm...three sets of balconies? A cloud with three tips? Three fields of color in the photo?

As usual, Pod, you are a master of titles. I love the way you make us look more carefully at every picture.

Hmmm...bloglines tells me you posted this entry twice....6 minutes apart...what went wrong with the first one?

Lovely blue sky, btw, and gorgeous puffy cloud, unlike the pallid blue French sky streaked with ..well...streaky clouds. I know there are proper names for all these clouds - did it in geography like a zillion years ago but oh bloody hell it escapes me... cirrus? Cumulosomething? Pfffft.

Poo building though.

Who says three's a crowd? All good things come in threes. Lovely that the angels have come to visit you, too!

Fantastic! I truly dig the lovely contrast of the dark, linear structure and white soft, fluffy clouds. Interesting.

My first thought was that this was just a "Menage a Deux" -- but then it occurred to me that there was the sky - I had missed the sky! Brilliant Pod, brilliant!

Ménage à Trois with three elements over the major four: you've got Air (yep), Water (yep) and Earth (sort of).

You're missing Fire Pod, you're missing Fire...

Surely you tore that picture out of a 50's book about new and wonderful architecture Pod? It's been all coloured in and everything!

(JOKE!!!! She added quickly before she offended the Podster)

(Yes, I like it too.)

No bv there's nothing missing here: the indecently monochrome blue, the soft bubbly cottony but somewhat menacing white cloud and the harsh building with its sharp lines. Each is a driving force. Each incredibly strong. This is no fun menage a trois, this is a murder waiting to happen.

Monument and AA are both architecture magazines... I believe your shot is publishable! Puppies is a sign of affection.

I'm particularly fond of the title.

I wouldn't mind living in such a snazzy building, either.

a stunning photo.

Did you know there are cloud-spotters - like bus-spotters but with clouds... ?

As for that Wendz, she keeps her eyes peeled doesn't she? (ouch)

NATHALIE - it's funny you mention murder, as i kinda had something sinister going on in the building perhaps.....

THOMP - that is very kind young sir...cheese mate!

MA - ;0)

EDWIN - oh no, not close enough to the beach pour toi. and patience is a virtue! ;0)

MAGICEYE - thanks and welcome!

STEVE - hmm. i guess i was thinking of the three parts to the photo, but the title was suggestive perhaps of something else going on....

THE ALL SEEING EYE OF WENDZ - gosh you're sharp ain't ya?? had saved this as a draft a few days previously, and when i posted it, it came up lower down if that makes sense......and i think you are looking for cumulonimbus??

MISS MAGIC - ooh. seems there is magic in the air! thank you ;0)

REYA - true true! bottom is less radiant but a little itchy now if you must know.... ;0p

HHB - ta!

ANNA - thank ye

ZIPPY - it was a very immense and looming cloud. i thought it was going to envelope me!

DOGGIE - i couldn't decide either, so i posted the bw version 'over there'

JD - but what goes on behind closed doors JD...?

CHAD - ;0)

BV - hence manage a trois, not a quatre..? and just becasue you can't see something, doesn't mean it isn't there...there is fire in my belly (and radiating from my sunburnt derriere! ;0p

PAT - hello!

RW - we have the bluest skies i have ever sseen here. i think you need a smacked botty?

MC - thank you again!

JC - no no, it may look snazzy here but in reality it isn't. there are far nicer!

LETTY - i am not surprised there are cloud-spotters. i suspect there are botty-spotters too around these parts! ;0o
