EXTRACTION

Could this be Pod on the operating table? Did they take out more than a tooth and some bone? Or is this how he is feeling perhaps? Could this infact be a still from a wonderful 70's American TV show?? Maybe there will be a prize for the first correct answer............

My dying wish is to lose my mind before my body. Then it (I) becomes someone else problem. Isn't that a ni ce thought?

At least your surgery is behind you, congratulations.

Oh dear! Having a piece of your jaw removed is a huge event - it will take time to recover.

Easy for me to say this, isn't it? Can you give me a precise location to send the Reiki? Maxilla or mandible? right or left? towards the front or back?

If you were here, Jake would snuggle up with you and make his happy breathing sounds while I made you some tea (spiked with sherry?) I'm sure you'd feel much better.

Love to you!

And to say that I'm the one who suffers from multiple identity disorder !!!!

All right, I'll sympathise !
Tried to leave you a long message yesterday and your system rejected me. Will go short this time, hopefully with better luck.
Take care!

It's like Valley of the Dolls, innit?

I'm physically exhausted, mentally stimulated. how's my little poddian today? :)

Actually, rather than Valley of the Dolls, it reminds me of that scene in Absolutely Fabulous where Edwina has the nightmare about the plastic surgery run amok...

(See, Pod, I can say that now since your surgery is past...)

But if it's an American show from the '70s -- hmmmm. It could be anything from "Love American Style" to "The Rockford Files" to "Quincy." I have no idea.

Hope you're feeling better. :)

Surgery is something that alters us for some time after. Not only do we have to recover from the anesthesia but also, our physical and emotional states need to find balance. I've had my share of surgeries, so I can sympathize with you. Take it slow...and when you are having a "good day", don't over do it! Peaceful healing.....

M_FILER - hey! i didn't even think of the image provoking such thought. having watched my mum 'lose her mind' to alzheimer's, i am not sure i would want to lose mine. i am pretty sure that although it seems externally that she had, i remain unconvinced that inside she knew what was going on, just that the disease stopped the outward expression of herself. who knows? i think i would rather sit there in a chair with my memories intact. make good memories. they keep you going!

REYNESS - i think i have turned the corner today thank you! but please send jakey breath one night whilst i am asleep x

FOXY LADY - how rude of blogger! i have a few guises too.... ;0p

NAT - or should i say nut? tee hee. glad you got the title. i thought it was rather funny too!

DWIN - little poddy is feeling heaps better. first night without pain thank heavens. thanks dude with a perm!!

STEVE - that wsa a funny scene. i should have remembered that when i was about to cry on the table! sorry, this is from none of those, though i was obsessed with Quincu M.E as a child, and it is all because of him that i am where i am today!

RATZ - she has had her mind stolen by aliens! ;0p

JAMES - if only life where that easy hey? nice try
;0p

CHED - not dallas! and yes i am thankful i don't have a nuclear cat buzzing next to my wedding tackle! ;0)

MA - i do, i do, worry not ;0)

MEG - well that may explain the 'other' pains i have been getting 'down below'! hope you are feeling better?

LETTY - unfortunately i was born a ninny, and am a bit crap about taking time off! glad you like gotye. i can't get enough of 'heart's a mess'. love it! liked the josh pyke song. he is quite big here, and i think touring at the mo. will check out more. not usually a fan of the male voice so much. still looking for el prez. will endeavour! hope you're ok noseybonk x

WET DOGGIE - the series went on into the 80's. i am sure you saw it. thanks for the well wishes mate!

ZIPPY - thanks for the top advice. i feel greast today but shall resist the urge to charge about with glee! have a fab weekend!

TRIJ - don't i look great? do you want the surgeon's number? ;0p

EDDIE - it's just nuts nuts nuts with you isn't it?

ANON - oops, sorry, i ate all the chockie before the surgery!!

DONS - aah ta. will send address right away. i am a taurean baby though, by all of 20 mins!! x
