MEET TODD

As part of a photography course I am currently doing, we had to take various shots of 'an object bigger that the camera, not a person', using various criteria. I searched the house, and nothing deemed satisfactory. On my way to work last week, I passed a two dollar shop, and caught a glimpse of Todd hanging from the ceiling. Pod to the rescue! Perhaps I will post a few shots I took for my homework this week.

Poor Todd! At least you freed him from that nasty two dollar shop.

He and his jail are quite colorful, and I'm always a fan of color.

WHOOOOO COLOR ::pumps fist::

Looks a bit like Lettuce's bounding dog. Small-but-interesting world.

this is so sweet and cheery. For years there was a kid's playhouse with a toy giraffe looking out of the window just 1 block from my house. I kept thinking--"i hafta get a snap o'that!" but like a bonehead ...well one day it was gone.

Yours is better anyway Pod!

found hanging with blue ears and tongue and now behind blue bars? Oy.....a roommate once gave me a Chanukah squeaky lizard present (G. P. P. McSqueaky III) but then hanged it from its neck....very sad, but the roommate claimed it wasn't dead, just doing it for....well, somethings are just too awful to elaborate on.
i should become an expert on squeaky lizards and then be able to definitely claim that i would lay the poor thing to rest.

I like Todd! I went on safari in Kenya and saw giraffes. They put their heads right into the jeep and looked at us very closely. They have the most beautiful eyes with the longest lashes! Why is Todd behind bars tho? Has he been naughty already?

Poor Todd. It's like he's in jail (though a colorful jail, at least.) He looks so mournful. I'm sure he looked happier the very minute you rescued him from his fate. Thank goodness for the photography course! Thank goodness for Pod!

To mis-quote Thomas Moore:

"I never nurs'd a dear giraffe /
To glad me with its long-lash'd eye /
But when it came to drink and laugh /
With me, I knew it must be AI" !

LL - you are right. he was very cooperative...until the great dane came and nearly popped him!

JOH - love the colour too

MR L - i love dthat dog vid! so funny!

CHED - seize the moment you big bonehead! ;0p

JA - yes do, coz the current squeaky lizard expert is such an old bore. we need some yoof injected into the squeaky lizard world

LETTY - i think he needs something...ahem. yes the colour is grand. unfortunately we had to p[rint in B&W for class, and so the effect was a little lost....begger!

DONALD - actually he has been great so far. no naughtiness as yet. i love giraffes. at sydney zoo they look over the harbour to the opera house. it is quite a surreal sight. love my gifts!!

FN - i think they can't help but loom. i loom when i am a bit tipsy...

ZIP - nice hey?

MR HUFF - thanks mate. yes i shall post more here, and bore you all....

STE - he hasn't stopped smiling since...apart from when he was nearly abducted by a very great dane.

RAINDOG - his poos are plastic, so they are very easy to clean up if he has a little mishap (like when the great dane nearly took him)

INC - oh no, what have i done?? i'd love to take a portrait of you!

ALBI - grazi (is that right?)

REYA - it is actually a great big rocket in the playground. i use it to visit reypod at night when all the kids are tucked up in bed, but don't tell anyone. thank goodness for us!

AI - ha ha. very clever. have you a long neck and lashes like my family too then?

BV - he is free, fear not!

KIMBLE - thanks love! good to see you!

EM - of course i don't mind. thank you! i am having trouble linking folk. i tried today and it went horribly wrong?!
