aaah, the compost heap. my dad misses his, he doesn't quite know what to do with his peelings these days.

Poor, poor baby birdie. My grandson found a dead baby bird when he was about 4 years old. We had a proper funeral. When I asked him what we should name the dead bird.. he very seriously said "his name is Rocket Power".

What a poor little bird. I wonder what happened to him. Seeing him in that condition is kinda sad.
