You are SOOO right. Now I feel less guilty about this Chirstmas snowglobe thing I got last year. ;)
What is familiar resonates, doesn't it? This is its own little world, protected from dust or bugs or whatever. I bet it's quiet and peaceful in there.
Love to you,

Kitsch convinces us we won't have to die, and this little world in particular seem to be one of stopped time.
there's always something glorious in these white scenes you create even if its a tacky ornament.
good one. as usual.
oh, and thanks for the congratulations! its needed, isnt it? :)
theres no place like home

oh for some ruby slippers
In my dictionnary, "tacky" sounds very strong...This bowl is so hideous? ;-). And what do you think about the curtains?
just found your blog, came over from bubblegum snapshots. love your pics and your stories.
LOL! Are you sure my gramma doesn't live in your house? *grin*
Well... possibly a little comfort.. its not as bad as plastic flowers and velvet Elvis paintings.
The title of this post/photo made me chuckle.
:)
I find your photo comforting pod. The whiteness of it all, the reflection of the lace curtain in the surface of the table ...
Very pleasant and uplifting.
After a week I still can´t find the comfort for myself but I´m glad that you did.
