I found out how to do it! For those of you that were unlucky and missed out on the wonderment that was 'Tales Of The Unexpected', here is the oh-so-familiar opening sequence. It was an early 80's weekly TV drama, each one from a Roald Dahl short story, and had a (terrifying to a little Pod) twist. I remember one had the lovely Joan Collins in it even! I wanted to play the music to open the post below, so this will have to do. Was anyone else frightened by the music? And where is the dancing lady now I wonder?

oh those good old hey-days of anglia! i sat here and ate two cup cakes and watched that four times- simply mesmerizing, simply mesmerizing. (by the way, ive eaten ten or so cupcakes in the last hour or so. should i stop?)

not a momemt too soon katie pinkwhistle! i am not surprised that it was the anglia ditty that bought you outta the woodwork!! i had to keep watching it too. the combination of anglia nd the anticipation of the opening bars of 'tales'. oh the joy! it takes me right back. please stop eating cupcakes! great to hear from you x

Ha Haaa! Nickerless Parsons Nose. I do larf. My family was silly like that too, thank heavens. How funny. Susan Hampshire was in everything, or was that Susanna Yorke? I always mix them up. I fear I may have to get the 'Tales' boxset too, just to see how much i remember. I can recollect an ending shot of the close-up of a mans arm, with fuzzy bee-hair growing out from under his cuff, and him saying (or buzzing) 'bzzzzzzz'
