PODBRAIN

OK, now that the Tokyo series is done, I am going to have to think on what comes next. As I was racking the Podbrain today, I went and took a picture of this that I had been meaning to capture for a while. It is on the front of an old house along Oxford Street, opposite Centennial Park. I am experimenting with size too, but not really succeeding. What do you think? Your opinion counts.

Does my brain look big in this?

Please be patient whilst the Podbrain kicks back into motion......

Now that your brain is this big, does it mean you finally did it???

how funny! I'm waiting for your email reply AND here too! just adjust the size of the picture you want the way you want it to look when you're PSing it. Just stay in the measurements (width 640 px)

This really looks great! Your pictures and blog are sooooo gonna benifit this 'new' look.

Despite what 'they' say...
Size does matter!

It looks great from where I'm sitting! Just think, all your lovely photos... but big! :O)

Its size does make it a bit scary -- like a horror movie poster -- "The Brain that Ate Australia." But the photo itself, and the painted image, are excellent! (I love the stencilled scuba-diver, too!)

I wish I could offer some helpful words on photo size, but I keep everything pretty simple on that front -- for better or worse! :)

And actually, on a purely practical note, I think Blogger allots us all a finite amount of space for photos -- so the bigger and more high-res they are, the fewer we'll have room for. (I think it's quite a lot of space, though.)

TRAC - i think you are right as usual. i must tell you my elvis story. i keep forgetting!

STEVE - hey. i laughed at your film suggestion. maybe it's up to me to save oz from the giant brain! i want to get a shot of the whole building, but it was on a really busy road and i got bored of trying to cross to get further away.

the scuba man i have seen before somewhere, in NZ i think. i will have a gander for you. thnaks for your advice.

INC - i have loads of graffiti pics (three books worth infact). i am wondering if i should start a new blog just fpr street art...? yes the mice incident was rather scarring. i didnt speak to my dad for ages, and was so embarassed at school!! everyone thought i had killed them!

PHOTO-EFFE - hello. where'd you come from? thanks for dropping in. i will take a look at you shortly

Is it a brain, or is it a mushroom?

Either way, it's an interesting photo, and like Steve I am captivated by the stenciled scuba diver. Maybe he (or she) is going to swim over and sever the brainstem, causing immediate paralysis or death? Or, maybe the scuba diver is a blood clot waiting to cause a stroke, or carcinogens waiting to mutate brain cells? ;-)

JD - oh my goodness i hadn't thought of that. actually you are all blissfully unaware of my mission to save Australia from the Giant Mindsnatching Brain (it took John Howards ages ago...). That is infact me, Scubapod. Do not fear Australia, i will save you!

STARSOFT - ahem, i think it is more exciting and macho of me to be fighting a giant brain than a freshly rinsed cauli, no?

Can't beat a bit of wednesday morning/tues night silliness.

And while you were all sleeping Pod saved Australia....
