NEWSFLASH
Sorry to have worried some of you sweetnesses, and thanks for the concern. Do not fret, for I was dumped by a big wave. Tis an Aussie term, forgive me for thinking you would know what I meant. Only a bruised ego, as it was in front of all the beautiful people at Tamarama. My heart is still intact and beating nice and strong!! Listen hard and you will hear it....

LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME!
OK, shameless Pod pimping afoot!! Completely out of le bleu, a very kind French man BV has nominated me for the 2007 Photobloggies Awards. Being an ever so 'umble and modest Podlet, I didn't know whether or not to draw attention to myself, but what the heck!! You don't know until you try hey? And after all, the French are known for their style, good taste and rather large onions.
So if you want to vote for me, click here, scroll down and enter my site address in the Best Australia/New Zealand photoblog section. You have to enter your email address, then confirm it, so there is a little effort to be made.
A big MERCI BEAUCOUP to BV, whoever you are, and wherever you popped up from. I am flattered. I wish I could understand enough to read your site, but malheureusement I know only une petite peu, je suis desole!! In honour I shall listen to Stereolab all day long!
I also propose that we vote for Edwin in the Southeast Asian category.

GLAMARAMA
This is Tamarama, known commonly as Glamarama. Yes, this is one, just one (of five) of 'my' local beaches, all within walking distance of my house. OK, I am rubbing it in, but I thought since some of you are constantly moaning about the friggin' cold, you might appreciate a bit of sunshine! So this is for those of you that need a little bit of cheering up. There is also a big Pod hug lurking, if you want one. Anyway, it ain't all fun having constant sunshine! The heat can make one very weary. Then there is the sand, once you've got a few grains in yer budgie smugglers, it's merry hell! The sign to the left of the photo warns of bluebottle jellyfish. They have very long tentacles that wrap around you, giving you multiple burning stings that can last a few days. So one must always be on one's guard you see. Is this working? I'm trying to make you feel better......
